Dr. Stanko has been practicing dermatology in Bryn Mawr, P.A. since 2003. She is dedicated to excellence in comprehensive dermatological care. Dr. Stanko Burkholder specializes in laser therapy, cosmetic techniques and skin cancer surgery. She pursues the most advanced techniques and procedures, implementing the latest and most effective skin treatments for her patients.
Dr. Stanko acquired her M.D. with High Distinction from the University of Nebraska, where she became a member of the National Medical Honor Society Alpha Omega Alpha. She served as Chief Resident in her last year of residency at Drexel Universities Dept. of Dermatology, where she is now an Assistant Clinical Professor.
Dr. Stanko is currently certified by the American Board of Dermatology and on staff at Bryn Mawr Hospital. Her memberships include: American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology, and Philadelphia Dermatologic Society.

Dr. Brendan O’Neill received his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience with honors from the University of Delaware. He was elected a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honors society and went on to study medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine. He was awarded a Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern, where he spent a year involved in extensive clinical research.
Dr. O’Neill completed his Dermatology Residency at Drexel University and went on to practice general Dermatology in Denver, Colorado.
Dr. O’Neill believes in providing the highest quality care to his patients. He has expertise in general Dermatology as well as Dermatopathology, with particular interest in pigmented lesions, cutaneous oncology, and skin cancer surgery.
Dr. O’Neill is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatopathology. As a Pennsylvania native, he is happy to be getting back to his roots in the greater Philadelphia area.
Rae has been working as a Physician Assistant since 1999 and is very proud to be joining the Bryn Mawr Dermatology family. Rae grew up in Audubon, PA and obtained her undergraduate degree from Penn State University. Ms. Calamia then decided she wanted to participate in patient care directly and attended DeSales University earning a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Rae started her physician assistant career in orthopedic surgery. In 2005 she turned her focus to Dermatology and hasn’t looked back! Ms. Calamia finds the complex challenges of dermatology exciting and rewarding.
As a mother of twin girls, Rae knows the importance of treating children as well as adults for all types of dermatologic concerns. Ms. Calamia is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and frequently attends conferences and lectures to further her education. She resides in the King of Prussia area with her husband and daughters.
Kate comes to Bryn Mawr Dermatology with a vast array of experience working as a Patient Coordinator with some of Philadelphia’s top Cosmetic and Plastic surgeons. As a patient advocate, Kate’s interpersonal skills and knowledge of the specialty allowed her to play a key personal role as patients made life altering decisions. Kate gets personal satisfaction from guiding patients toward the end result that they are seeking. As the quintessential patient herself, Kate is eager to share her first-hand knowledge on all the latest techniques, products, services and cosmetic trends available including non-surgical options.
Prior to living in Pennsylvania, Kate was reared in New England in the suburbs of Hartford, CT. There she acquired her high energy, attention to detail and customer service background in private and corporate aviation as a Flight Coordinator serving celebrity clients.
